Disabling Knowledge Base

Learn how to manage knowledge base visibility in Thulo Cloud: disable for customers, control staff access, and maintain privacy for internal articles.

Customers Area

If you wish to disable the Knowledge Base in the customer area:

  1. Navigate to Setup -> Settings -> Customers.
  2. Set Use Knowledge Base to No.

Staff Members

  • Granting staff members Knowledge Base View (Global) permissions allows access to internal knowledge base articles.
  • To restrict access for specific staff members, do not grant Knowledge Base View (Global) permissions.

Note: Enabled knowledge base in the customer area allows all visitors access to articles.
