The Thulo Cloud Finance Overview provides a comprehensive view of all logged project timesheets and associated expenses.

Key Metrics:

  • Total Expenses: Total project expenses, including both billable and non-billable time.
  • Billable Expenses: Total project expenses designated as billable to the client.
  • Billed Expenses: Total project expenses included in issued invoices.
  • Unbilled Expenses: Total billable expenses remaining after the last project invoice (if any).

Calculating Project Value:

Thulo Cloud calculates project value based on the project's billing type:

  • Project Hours Billing:
    • Total project value = Rate per hour (set in project settings) x Total logged hours
  • Task Hours Billing:
    • Total project value = Summation of (Task Total Rate per hour x Task Logged Hours) for all billable tasks

Example Calculations:

  • Project Hours Billing:
    • Project has 3 logged hours
    • Rate per hour (project settings) = $40
    • Total project value = $40/hour x 3 hours = $120
  • Task Hours Billing:
    • Task 1 (Fix Firefox Bug): Total Rate per hour = $25, Logged Hours = 1 hour
    • Task 2 (Create New Database Table): Total Rate per hour = $40, Logged Hours = 2 hours
    • Total project value = $25/hour x 1 hour (Task 1) + $40/hour x 2 hours (Task 2) = $25 + $80 = $105
